For several years I have been researching my family history and have a
particular interest in:

Lewis |

Simcock |

Cooper |
1782 |
Year is the earliest in my records
All of the above are related in some way to Stoke-On-Trent
Staffordshire England Wales or Ireland. I am also interested in any references to
the place name Chell Heath, Little Chell or Bycars Farm, have been told that most
from these areas in the 1800's are probably related.
Additional items:
- Lewis - - John Dwine(1853) & Elizabeth
Lewis(1853) Married 1874 Burslem St Pauls
Sarah Dwine(1857) & Walter Lewis Married 1878 Hanley St. John
The above are brothers & sisters. - Are there any Lewis descendents?
The Lewis sibling's parents were Edwin Lewis b 31 July 1833 Mold, Flint Wales
and Jane Hancox b 1829, Burslem. In 1881 Edwin Lewis was listed in the census as
Beer House Keeper living at Travellers Rest Brook St, Biddulph, Stafford.
- Witheridge is the maiden name of my mother-in-law.
Sylvia Maud Clarke nee Witheridge (1915-1998)
-
Simpson a distant relationship through Berrisford
and Rutland. Additional Simpson information is available at the Simpson web site.
- I have several glass negatives, probably for the late 1800's that
belonged to my Father or his Father. Most have been identified however there is
still one mystery. I have no idea who these people are, perhaps you do?
